How It Works

Just the two of us, over a pot of tea. Not at your office, and never on Zoom. I choose a quiet, private place in the San Francisco Bay Area, and we turn our phones off. We begin with one question, “What do we talk about today?”, and follow it wherever it leads: you, your relationships, your work.

One session. Three hours. That’s it.

Knowing Where to Tap

There’s an old story I love.

A huge factory machine broke down, and no one could fix it. Finally, the owner called in an old engineer. He didn’t rush. He walked around the machine, listened for a long while, then picked up a small hammer and tapped one spot, once. The machine roared back to life.

His bill came to $10,000. The owner was furious. “All you did was tap it!” He asked for an itemized bill. It read:

Tapping with a hammer: $1.
Knowing where to tap: $9,999.

That’s my work. Our three hours together are the tap. Everything I’ve lived and learned is knowing where.

Terms

$10,000 for the three-hour session, paid in advance. The private location and the tea are on me. Before we meet, we’ll sign a simple engagement letter and NDA, so everything stays between us. If you’d like to meet outside the Bay Area, write to me and we’ll work out the details.
